In addition to reporting the fraudulent charges to your bank so they can open an investigation, I would recommend using the posted address of Uber to report the occurrence to the Better Business Bureau.

I've only used Uber services once and my first time it said my ride would be free to a certain distance I was under the 20$ limit and I was still charged sending my account into overdraft. Can this be Fixed?

I checked my statement and saw Uber Technologies Inc. charge for $5.00 transaction dated 1/11/16. I have NEVER and NEVER WILL use Uber. I tried calling the phone number given, (866) 576-1039. That was no help, the recording told me to send an email to [email protected]. I will be contacting my bank.

I have three charges on my bill for November 7- two of those charges are good, however the last charge on my bill for $20.73 should not be there. We went to a restaurant- charge #1 and back from the restaurant- charge #2.

After a trip to San Francisco my CC started getting charges every couple days, from Uber Technologies, small charges of $9 - 20 per charge, they are fraudulent, I have never heard of Uber and drove my own vehicle so I definitely did not purchase any sort of ride or taxi services, I am very upset. I believe that sometime in the past year my son may have used my CC to pay for a ride, and now I am getting scammed. After reading that there are hundreds, no thousands of complaints against Uber I have complained to my CC company and bank that they need to entirely shut these guys down if they have inadequate security, or have an internal mole defrauding the public.

I am very unhappy with my uber experience. I lost my wallet in my last uber and I can't even contact my driver because the number provided for him is incorrect. I need to be contacted soon.

They charged my credit card x3 on the days that I was out of country: July 18 two times, July 19, and July 20. As soon as I received a statement I called to my bank and asked then to investigate. I never used UBER services and even didn't hear about them until now. But now I will let everyone know about their fraudulently practice!

I have received unauthorized charges on my credit of $342.00 from Uber Technologies Inc., I need someone to call my office at 386-615-1203 as soon as possible. Because I will report to my credit agent within 2 hours if I don't hear from you. Thank you.

I have a charge on my debit card for 121.42 on 5/11/15 and another on on the same date for 6.15. I have never used this service.

How does Uber protect from users using someone else's credit card information illegally????? Just got charged $512 in Uber charges and $270 in bank fees. I had to look on the internet to find out what Uber was. Fraud.

Uber technologies without permission took two withdraws from my father's account in which he accused me of doing, he's wrong and so are Uber technologies for illegally taKing my dad's money and rest assure I will make them five reparations to my father at the very least,

I have never used this service and never will and my account has been fraudulently charged. $245 and then over $800 so my bank called me and said did you authorize Uber to charge $800 something to your bank account? I said no absolutely not! Then they told me about the other two charges that my bank paid to them from my account so I am disputing it. I racked up overdrawn charges because of it. I have to wait now until the bank does an inquiry. I so damn mad because I have never used a taxi or even heard of Uber.

This transaction was made on 3/20 and I have no use for a cab or any other transportation other than my car. I also do not live in CA.

I just received two texts from 2027094158 congratulating me for signing up to Uber (which I have not) and prompting me to text 'GO' to activate (which I also did not). Provided in the body of the texts was this 866 576 1039 'help' number, which I did not call. So far I have not seen any charges to my debit or credit cards, but I am on the lookout for them now.

I was charged over $800. in two seperate transactions by UBER TECHNOLOGIES INC. on Feb 9, 2015. So far an investigation is underway and no responce has been made by UBER 1 866-576-1039.

I was charged $5.00 on my credit card by Uber 866-576-1039 CA. I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company. I suggest everyone who finds such a charge they don't recognize do the same to stop this.

I called my bank about a month ago letting know that this Uber Technologies Co was attempting to debit my account. I was told by my bank that since there was no charge amount on the attempt, that there was nothing they could do. So now, here it is a month later and I have another attempt to debit my account. I'm more pissed at my bank because I told them before and nothing was done to stop it. Though it's only for $15.00, it was still unauthorized and definitely the principle of it all. Something should be done to keep this from happening again to anyone!!!
