A fraudulent charge of $111.98 appeared on my September 2018 credit card statement. The charge occurred on Aug 23, 2018 listed as ZAP*ZAPPOS.COM. 800-927-7671 NV.

I was checking my account to see how broke I was today (I was going out and didn't know how much to spend), and noticed $10 to Zappos. I've never heard of this store, so I was so confused. I googled it and saw how big this was in 2014. I called and the Zappos' employee said "oh no..." I'm guessing that this has been happening again or it's resurfacing, but they handled it nicely for me. They told me that as soon as they saw the charge, they marked it as fraud, refunded, and closed the account. The employee told me that these frauds typically start small, and then hit big. Well I have some news for the frauds: I have like $5 in my account usually so have fun with that.

June 13, 2016 - ZAP*ZAPPOS.COM 800-927-767NVUS & 3 other websites just tried to charge my Card. Call my bank, they told me my card # was stolen and they had to cancel my card and send me a new one. Bummer :(

I just noticed a fraudulent charge for $10 5/24/16 from Zappos.com, as well as my sister. Neither of us have ever ordered anything from Zappos.com. I do, however, notice that Amazon.com is the parent company and we both ordered items from Amazon.

Hi, Today notice a pending charge from Zappos Sunday 30 August 2015 Pending Misc. Debit POS DEBIT ZAP*ZAPPOS.COM 800-927-7671 NV $19.26 I know this was an unauthorized charge because I had not bought anything from Zappos before. I called Zappos and they had said that someone placed an order at Sunday 30 August 5:30 a.m Pacific Time and had the item shipped to Indiana. They said they thought that the order was unauthorized and a fraud order so they went ahead and canceled it even before I had called them. I did use the same card on Amazon. What weird is that the time reported was the exact time I placed an order with Amazon using a different card.

Just received a fraud warning from my bank for a $10 charge from Zappos, I have never bought anything or even heard of this company before. This happened just a couple of hours after I ordered some sandals from Amazon, the owner of Zappos.

Was contacted by bank. US$10 charge. Card cancelled. Card was used to purchase once from Amazon; card info was saved on Amazon. No other online purchases made with this card. Never shopped at Zappos.

On 11-04-2015, there was a charge of R604 ($55) from my account. I called my bank and reported the transaction. I cancelled all my cards just to be cautious. Thanks for all the tips on this site, they were helpful and I am reporting this fraudulent activity to this company. I hope they can reverse this transaction.

Same $10.00 charge and who ever is doing is setting it up as a reoccurring charge. So just cancelling your car will not stop the charge from going through again. You have to have the bank do a stop payment to the company to stop reoccurring charge. :(

same here,,,but I called them thru the transaction info on my card., They said they caught the fraudulent transaction. It was stopped and they reimbursed me for the $10. And I notified them of this site and how many complaints against them for this (and not very nicely I might add)...There number is 1-800-736-3383

Great. $10 Charge on my debit card from Zappos. I've NEVER shopped there and never will. Reported to my bank and now I have to wait for another card to ship out. Searching "zappos unauthorized charge" shows that I'm far from being alone.
