I was erroneously charged $54 for a "travel insurance policy" I never ordered. They said they will refund it, but you have to watch out for them as it seems scummy. They go by Allianz and their real tel number in the US is 866 642 2501. Press 4 for customer service.

I was charged $28.00 dollars for a policy I never requested in May 2019. I just find it today. It's a scam! The number is 800-729-6021 VA.

This has been appearing on my credit card statement. I did not purchase it. Cannot find a way to cancel it. Reported as fraudulent last month, had the charge removed, now it is there again! Help!

I just noticed a charge of $21.00 for travel insurance for a day that I am not traveling and did not purchase. Unfortunately, I just noticed this even though the charge was made in May. The email appeared to come from Allianz, a company from which I have purchased travel insurance before. The document itself reads "Jefferson Insurance Company. I do have an upcoming trip and purchased insurance through my travel agent. When I saw the email, I moved it into my folder for this trip and just looked at it today when reviewing the details of my itinerary. I checked with my travel agent, and he did not request this insurance. The 800 number listed on the letter of confirmation does not match the 800 number on the credit card charge.

A charge from Travel Insurance Polic 8007296021 showed up on credit card statement, but I never ordered travel insurance from them or anyone else at that time. We reported it as a fraudulent charge to the credit card company.

I reserved a car thinking it was through HERTZ but it was a third party CAR RENTALS.COM. I agreed to buy Allianz insurance for the car at $9 per day. Afterwards when I got my policy, I read the fine print - I was sold an insurance policy for US CITIZENS ONLY! My STATE was NSW AUSTRALIA on my form but on the policy it had Alaska!!! I was mislead. Feel scammed. Not told price was US dollars. Price given was $81, $109.91 deducted from my account. Very misleading, no one will reply except for a computer generated e mail. Have cancelled but no refund yet

Got billed 2 charges totaling $58, the day after I booked a $100 flight on American Airlines. I definitely did not charge this on purpose. So scammy!

I reserved a rental car online then cancelled the rental soon thereafter. The Rental company refunded the rental amount but the insurance (which they must farm out to Allianz) was still charged. A quick call to Allianz solved the issue and they refunded the charge.

An unauthorized $21.00 charge from "Travel Insurance Policy" aka Allianz Global Assistance ([email protected]) appeared on one of the many company credits I reconcile & "Adam" & "Linda" @ Allianz have been zero help. Contact your bank, everybody. It's the only way this criminal organization can be stopped.

I went to look on my bank statement and found this (TRAVEL INSURANCE POLI 800-729-6021 VA 02/19) on February 21, 2017 for $18.30 and did not authorize any payment.

I was paying bills this morning when I noticed I charge I did not recognize on my Wells Fargo Credit Card, TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY 800-729-6021 VA for $48.93. I haven't traveled since summer of 2016, and did not have this credit card at the time. I have no future travel plans, and did not opt in for any insurance policy on any recent purchases. Wells Fargo has closed my card and will be mailing me a new one, and in the meantime they are working to get the charged reversed.

I reserved a rental car through hotwire.com and agreed to the coverage for the car at $9 per day. I then cancelled the Budget rental transaction at the counter as it ended up being too costly but the insurance charge still posted to my card. I called Allianz at 1-800-729-6021 and they politely cancelled the policy and refunded me $9.00.

Got a brand new Chase credit card, used it TWICE (restaurant & Groupon item) then found a third charge for Travel Insurance $63.00. Called Chae to report and got my brand new card cancelled and am getting mailed a new one. Not sure how my card number got stolen.

Total scam. Daughter bought concert tickets through select a seat and they billed her for insurance. They said it was no charge. Showed up on my on line banking several times. With only a partial phone number showing I had to call the bank to have them try and find the complete phone number. Allianz Global Assistance is a total scam

I purchased travel insurance on 1/6/2016 for a flight scheduled for 4/19/2016 and have yet to receive any email confirmation or policy. My credit card was charged $70.38 on 01/07 TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY 800-729-6021 VA . Please tell me this was not a scam.

I rented a car for my trip to canada on the internet(hotwire) and paid car insurance 135$. Could not prove it. Did not get confirmation. Then when there i paid again for insurance. It was shown as allianz. I called them and they said that they send emails with confirmation and a number to use when needed. Now this was in june. I just got a copy of my visa statement and it is paid. How can i refund my money. Urgent pls. It says travel insurance policy 8007296021

I was charged $21.00 dollars for a policy I never requested. I called my Discover Credit Card company and they suggested I give you a chance to refund my money before they dispute the charge. Please ascknowlegde ASAP.
