They tried to charge $2320.50 to my card on March 6, 2016. Luckily my bank did not authorize it.

Apparently, early Sept 2014 was a busy time for these scammers! I was billed $1,600 on my AMEX card (luckily AMEX will take on the fight to get my money back, they've been great to me for 40 years!). The billing line said: "RES*CONVENTIONCENTER210-507-5998 IL" doing business as: TRAVEL RESERV USD, SUITE 1000, 500 WEST MADISON STREET, CHICAGO, IL 60661 UNITED STATES" Additional information: "REWARDS TRVL" Category: "Travel - Travel Agencies". This was billed to my AMEX card Sept 1, 2014 ... but I didn't notice it until I started collecting business expenses for my tax returns (filing with extension). I tried calling the number minutes ago and, what a surprise, got a "this number is not in service" recording!! Now it's AMEX's turn to track down these scumbags!!

I made a reservation through www.villadelpalmar-Cabo.com. It turned up on my credit card as RES AAA Travel with a telephone # in Florida of 210-507-5998/5997. They took all my information and charged my account $1,330.80 for a reservation that they said was an error and they could not confirm! I have tried to call them all day yesterday and so far today, no answer! The Hotel does not have a reservation in my name so where does that leave me! This company should not be allowed to operate on-line or anywhere. I am reporting them to the Fraud/Dispute Credit Card Company, and anyone else who has authority to stop this type of scam!
