Of course, Woodwind and Brasswind should do a better job in alerting their customers as to how the charge will appear on their statement. I certainly encourage them to do so.
Charge of 435.98 showed up on my credit card statement Nov 2016. I had no memory of buying anything from GCI Woodwind or Guitar Center. I called the GCI customer service, and they were very helpful in confirming that I had not made any purchases from them. I had to call the bank to cancel the charge.
