I have been having charges of $10.99 to my credit card for this "service" for six months now. I did not authorize this charge. I ask for the charges to stop and for reimbursement to my credit card.

When you cancel a Verizon cell phone, they do not let ESH*TECHProtect Prem know, so you keep getting charged monthly. Just got mine cancelled by calling my credit card company, who got ESH*TECHProtect on the line, and cancelled it with a refund for this month!

I too have the same issue but thanks to you all and Verizon I now know what is going on. You have Verizon Company Stores and then there are Authorized "Independent" Verizon dealers.....not the same. The independent store either does not offer the Verizon replacement insurance or guides you unsuspectingly to take their insurance. I suspect the Independent store has a financial interest in this process. However there is a difference. The independent dealer insurance offers for $1 more a new phone replacement not a refurbished. Verizon Company Stores only offer a refurbished replacement program. My problem is it is not $1 more but $1.95 more. I expect this may be due to taxes but since I do not get a itemized receipt I am not sure. In fact I get no details except a separate charge on my credit card. In any case I plan to cancel this service and go back to Verizon. I just don't appreciate being duped by the Independent. If this insurance company makes it too difficult to cancel I will cancel my CC and have a new CC issued. I am always amazed how easy it is to sign up for something but in some cases nearly impossible to cancel.

I did not authorize charges from this company to my account or credit card... They state it is cell phone insurance, but I already have insurance through my carrier, Verizon.

Charge monthly is $11.76. I am trying to cancel this, but they're asking for personal info. from me (full social, Verizon account password, etc.), after I've already given them my full address, last 4 of social, etc...
