After my debit card got declined at two stores today, I checked my account and saw an unauthorized charge for 10.95 for dream.host from my checking account. I called the 877 number listed and got the automated service, which actually had an option on the main menu stating "if you did not authorize a charge, go to our website to report it and we will refund the fraudulent charge." As if this is business as usual for them. And of course, they want my account info etc... If this is a legit company, something is very fishy.

This company withdrew £18.79 using my debit card details without authorisation. Thankfully Lloyds bank contacted me and refunded this when I informed them that it was unauthorised. I cancelled my card and have been re-issued with new cards. Be aware !

This Dreamhost-DH charge on my Visa debit card is a total, out of the blue FRAUD, AND SHAM. I liked them up on the 'net and they purport to be a web-hosting company.... Contacting my bank ASAP about this!!! BEWARE!!! LeRoy L.

Had a deposit from dream host on Sept 22 and a withdrawal on same day. Not authorized. Called bank and had card blocked and canceled. Notified Facebook of problem. Haven't heard anything from them. Will be doing away with facebook account if the don't respond.

I got an alert about possible unusual activity on my credit card from Capitol One. I called the number on the back of the card and talked to a fraud prevention agent. They asked me about 3 recent transactions on my card. Two were valid charges but one for $1.03 was listed to DREANHOSTDH-FEE.com. I never heard of the company so I told the agent I would never make a charge as small as that on my card so it wasn't made by me. The agent then said they would remove the charge and cancel the card and issue a new one. What concerns me is how they got the card number. This is slick because most people would probably ignore a charge so small ant let it ride. Beware because the same thing happens on telephone bills. Read all bill statements before paying the bill is a policy I follow faithfully.

Just got charged by them on 7th May 2014. Although it was a small amount I still called up my bank and they said they could not do anything until it was cleared. So I am currently waiting. I have contacted them via the form and still waiting for an answer. I have also contacted via Facebook and they replied swiftly asking if I was able to provide a ticket number to which I could not because I was not given any when submitting the form. Kind of puzzled as to how they got my details... Will update.
