I recently order a phone from amazon for £200 but they took extra £220 from my account for nothing. Which means that they took an overall £439.89. Furthermore, the phone which I ordered doesn't function at all and blocked. Because of this, I've asked the company if I could return it back by the post office reference number GS518700228GB. Still they didn't give me a refund and didn't even return the money which they removed without any order or my permission. My dad ordered it for me by the e-mail address [email protected] and with the house address.

Well I got charged got charged £24 odd....! And for what will be reporting to my bank..... NatWest's Fraud / Deception & Identity theft Investigation Team.

I have just seen an on my bank statement an unauthorised billing for £1.00 by the following company : AMAZON EU AMAZON.CO.UK LU I have no idea what for and certainly gave no authorisation. Worried in case this repeats.

I ordered a book from Amazon.Co.Uk lu. It arrived today from Germany. It is a titled that I ordered but it is written in French (which I cannot read). My account was charged $13.45 which is not unreasonable if it had been for a book in English which I assumed I ordered. Can you help to get me the book in English or somehow return this one?

Same as other comments on here - just discovered that I have had £41.98 taken out of my Tesco Credit Card account Will be contacting Tesco to have it removed - no idea how this can happen ???

I have been charge by Amazon *Mktplce EU £30.00 on my Visa card on the 10th April and then again on the 11th May. No idea why, I have not placed orders for this amount with amazon .

My Barclaycard statement 23rd Sept 2016 has transaction for £34.48 (10 Sept) against A/c "Amazon UK Marketplace, 800-279-6620 but I can find no personal record of this transaction. Can you help?

Hi on my latest bank statement there are 2 charges from Amazon one is Amazon uk retail Amazon .co.uk lux for £18.04 ans the other is Amazon uk market place 800-279-6620 lux for £22.24

I noticed today a pending payment of £1 from Amazon.co.uk lu which I did not recognise and can only assume that this is a trial payment before more maybe attempted to be taken. Unfortunately I do have an Amazon account and therefore had a bit of a fight to get the bank to agree that it was an unauthorized payment, however they have agreed to take it seriously and are refunding the £1 .but apparently it is now up to me to watch my bank account closely to see if any other payments are submitted.

I have just had this. Charged £1.00. I have found the following on Amazons website: "When you place your first order with us, or use a card for the first time, we may contact your payment card's issuing bank to confirm that your card is a valid number, and hasn't been reported as lost or stolen. This is communicated via a £1.00 authorisation. However, we don't proceed with the charge and the £1.00 won't appear as a charge on your statement. The authorisation will lapse after no longer than 10 business days". Hope this helps.

sum of £30 was taken out of my account from AMAZON *MKTPLCE EU-UK 800-279-6620 LU, even though I hadn't bought anything recently from amazon. From looking on here I'm assuming is a scam? I have rang my bank and they are refunding the money for this and their investigation team is looking further into it.

I have noticed that an unauthoized transaction for £30:00 was removed from my account this morning. I have checked my Amazon.co.uk account and there are no outstanding orders and there is nothing there in the recent order for £30:00. Therefore, I have reported the matter to my bank who are now dealing with it as FRAUD and involving the Police.

My mother has 6 transactions on her mastercard from Amazon Mktplce EU UK AMAZON.CO.UK.LUX. she hasnt ordered anything so what are these payments for?
